A Girl and her Easter Bunny

Hey friends, I'm popping in to share my latest card... I got my first copics in the mail today *squeal!* so I had to do some coloring. Gotta practice, practice, practice.  I found some adorable images in the Silhouette Store, love this girl with her little bunny!

I made this card for The Little Muffin so I used her favorite color.  We hear a lot about favorite colors around our house these days.  She loves pointing out all the things that she sees in Mommy's favorite color (red), Daddy's favorite color (orange) and of course her own.  So sweet!

I used the sketch from Lesley Croghan's latest adventure in challenge creation called, simply, The Challenge you can find it at her blog Always Playing with Paper.

Colour Me...Playful! CMCC #13

Hey friends, it's Wednesday and that means it's time for another awesome challenge at Colour Me...!  This week we are working with a combination of 4 colors: Rich Razzleberry, Island Indigo, Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze.

I've been playing a lot with embossing paste lately and I made this striped background with some thin strips of post-it tape as a mask.  I just love the way this stuff looks, even when it's still wet!

 Here's this week's inspiration photo:

You Are Missed

Hey friends, stopping in with another card to share using the sketch from the current Seize the Sketch challenge.   There's still lots of time to play along.

I used white embossing paste to make the background, then lightly spritzed it with a homemade mist and covered it with glitter while the stencil was still on.  The banner piece was made with translucent embossing paste.

Runway Inspired Birthday

Hey friends!  Just popping in to share my latest card.  I've been eyeing the Runway Inspired Challenge for a while now and I'm finally playing along for the first time.

I was inspired by the colors and patterns in her skirt to make the inlaid die cut background.  That was interesting adventure in jigsaw puzzle style crafting!

Here's the look that inspired this week's challenge:

Birthday Smooches - Colour Me...Subtle CMCC # 12

Hey friends, it's Wednesday and time for another challenge at Colour Me...! This week we have a subtle combination to work with:  Pear Pizazz, Soft Sky and Coastal Cabana.

I just love this little (well chubby) cow guy.  I did some watercoloring this week and some creative stamp trimming to use the "Happy Birthday" stamp with the "Smooches" stamp (from 2 different sets) to make a sentiment that was a smidge different.  I'd take some birthday smooches from that dude!

Here's this week's inspiration photo:

Color Me... Striking! - CMCC #11

Hey friends, it's Wednesday and that means it's time for another awesome challenge at Colour Me...!  Everyone really rocked it in last week's monochromatic challenge, so many wonderful entries!  Let's do it again, shall we?  It's the second week of the month and that means we have a pair of colors to work with:  Midnight Muse and Tangerine Tango.

I decided it was time to try out the inlaid die cut technique I've been seeing everywhere.  It's really fun and I love the looks you can create.

I'm loving this week's funky inspiration photo:

Repeat that...

Hey, just had to do a separate post for my Paper Smooches SPARKS card.  I've never done multiple cards in one post before and apparently you can't really do that for the same link-up, oops!  So pardon my redundant card, see the post below for the original post with all three cards :)

So this card is inspired the photo below from the Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge this week :)

Thanks so much for looking (AGAIN!), keep it crafty! :)
